Amar Singh, Bipasha Basu audio sex: It was one of the most sensational scandals- between a hot Bollywood actoress and an ageing politician. When the audio tapes of Amar Singh-Bipasha Basu phone conversations were released the entire country was shocked hearing the sexually explicit conversation.

Madhur Bhandarkar- Preeti Jain sex scandal: In July 2004, he was accused of rape and criminal intimidation by small time actress Preeti Jain. Jain stated that she had intercourse with Bhandarkar between 2000 and 2003 under the false pretenses of marriage and a lead role in a movie. However, it turned out to be the other way round.  Police investigations revealed facts on basis of which Jain was arrested and charged with conspiracy to murder in 2010.  Police alleged that she paid gangster-turned-politician Arun Gawli's one time aide Naresh Pardesi Rs. 75,000 to have Bhandarkar killed.

Ashmit Patel, Riya Sen MMS scandal:  More than their films, it's their MMS controversy that brought them in lime light. Though the steamy video between Ashmit Pateland his girlfriend Riya Sen clearly showed the most intimate scenes, the actors denied being part of it.

Shakti Kapoor sting operation: It was sting operation by a leading media house that caught this villain of Bollywood trying to woo an aspiring actress by promising her good roles in B-town.  In the video clip, the actor said: "I want to make love to you ... and if you want to come in this line [of business] you have to do what I am telling [you] to do." 

Shiny Ahuja rape case: It is one of the most famous sex scandals of Bollywood where a young maid accuses a rising star of rape when his wife is not in the town. He initially claimed that he had consensual sex with his maidservant, but later broke down and confessed that it was rape. In 2010, the victim, while being cross-examined at the fast-track court in Sewri, said that Shiney did not rape her, but the DNA test confirmed rape. One moment of uncontrolled passion ruined a budding career.
